Job Description
Job Responsibilities: • Develop a deep and constant understanding of Eros Now’s business, strategy and key drivers for markets around the world • Establish the roadmap for data science initiatives based on company strategy • Hand-on sourcing, reviewing, cleaning, manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data • Build large and complex queries and data sets from multiple data sources in order to build and train algorithms for predicting future data characteristics to drive business solutions • Conduct advanced statistical analysis to determine trends and significant data relationships • Support A/B testing initiatives • Validate models and algorithmic techniques • Define, deliver and present reports for data science initiatives answering deep business questions while crystallize key insights from customer behavior for the global leadership team • Collaborate with peers and key cross-functional stakeholders to make data science a greater part of the business operation • Research new techniques and best practices within the industry Requirements: • Minimum 5 years in data, advanced analytics or research and development in statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms in a consumer technology environment • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Statistics, Science or related quantitative field is preferred • Passionate about understanding customers and their behavior using analytical problem-solving skills with strategic and structured thinking to identify trends • Demonstrates a high degree of responsibility, ownership and accountability • Able to synthesize and effectively communicate – verbally and in writing - insights for the management team • Able to work effectively with strong interpersonal skills with an international team • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment • Able to make advanced custom queries using SQL/database and analytics tools to pull data
