Project Managers are responsible for the delivery of a defined project from inception through close. They coordinate with resources on a project and/or their management, in order to define project plans, work breakdown structures, and financial forecasts. They create the charter for a project and ensure the end goal meets the initial success criteria. They actively manage scope, cost, time and quality and provide ongoing updates to sponsors, portfolio/product/platform managers and key stakeholders on project health, risks and issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Functions with autonomy; requires occasional guidance. Scope of work: Manages multiple small to medium sized projects. Framework: Applies Agile and other project management concepts, practices and procedures to assignments. Project Planning: Creates and maintains the project plan, capturing conflicts. Budgeting: Develops and maintains a detailed cost baseline and actuals. Estimation: Facilitate the gathering of information. Project Resource Management: Works with IT leaders to effectively align resources across projects. Project Delivery Launch: Ensures all resources are accounted for and aligned to work prior to execution. Stakeholders Satisfaction: Aggregates, prepares and delivers regularly scheduled status reports. Risk Management: Identifies, analyzes and manages project risks and assesses potential impact. Coaching/Mentoring: Provides project management coaching to less experienced team members. Qualifications: 5+ Years Project Management Experience, must be experience with infrastructure. Candidate must have proved and demonstrated experience managing projects of all sizes through all phases, from initiation to post-deployment. High level understanding of Cloud deployments, software and hardware implementations. Experience with MS Office, MS Project, and/or another portfolio / project management tool. PMP certification preferred.
