A mid-senior level Unix and VMware Administrator to manage a Unix and VMware environment. The ideal candidate will have strong overall infrastructure experience with extensive Unix and VMware skills. Technical Primary Skills: Develop automate and implement operations best practices using Scripts like PowerShell, PowerCli etc. Patch management. Linux OS & other Unix Flavor - Installation, Configuration & Management (any of the 3) Red Hat, SUSE Enterprise Linux & AIX. Security Management. Server Hardening. Administrative Tasks. Micro-Partitioning Support (LPAR) for AIX. Package installation. Resource Allocation and configuration for AIX LPARs. LVM Management. SSL Certificates renewals. DNS Management. Printer Administration. SuSe Manager Knowledge. Scripting Knowledge. SUSE Manager Knowledge. Technical Secondary Skills: Should have hands on experience on VMware infrastructure administration such as, Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of ESX 5.x & 6.x version. Monitoring of VMware Host and guest for performance and availability . VMware guest and host Patch management. Should have hands on experience on VMware vCloud administration such as, Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of vCloud Director. Develop automate and implement operations best practices using PowerShell or PowerCli.
